Before x After

Some pictures tell a greater story than others.

We tried to do this website without any before & after pictures — which is unheard of for an interior design-centric company — and there’s a reason: The smallest visual change can equal the greatest shift in experience.

Three gold vases with plants on a table, with a white background and 'bring life' written in braille on the wall.

Bring Life Love Into Spaces (aka BLLIS) invites us all to go beyond what we see and dig deeper into how we feel and function within the space — then ultimately out of it. A daily reminder in braille that spaces are meant to be felt and experienced, not only seen, was the starting point for BLLIS.

BLLIS focuses on:

how

space flow, lighting, plants, art, mirrors, furniture placement, airflow, colors, texture, fragrances, sounds, decluttering, views, personal expression

can positively impact

movement and momentum, cognitive performance, stress reduction, visual perspective and circadian rhythms, perceived safety and comfort, pleasure, calming effect (or a stimulating one), tranquility, blood pressure, depression

the people who experience the space everyday — with a strong conviction that a thoughtful rearrangement can go a long way.

If one picture = 1,000 words

What does a lived experience equal?

“When I got rid of that big credenza, I felt like I was pushing it off my chest. Once that was gone, I could breathe a little easier, and the process flowed more freely.”  Abby

“I needed a change but felt stuck and unable to change the flow of the room. Did not know where to begin, felt overwhelmed, and lacked the energy for the task.

It took a while to absorb the concept, but then it all made sense, the flow started, and the changes were finally happening. The room now feels better organized, we all got our own private spaces within the same room (even the cats!)” Ana

“I was traveling 75% of the time and I wanted to come home and decompress, but I couldn’t. I felt uneasy in my space and the cycle of buying, purging, and rearranging was no longer an option — then almost everything changed after I painted a game on my floor.” Lyndsay
